Charity Spotlight: Project Marilyn Drive

The NVSAA is proud to partner with Project Marilyn to help fight period poverty in our community.

Project Marilyn is named in honor of founder Wendi's late mother Marilyn who passed away in 2011. Marilyn believed she hasn't made a difference, but has inspired her daughters through her compassion, resilience, and unwavering care for others. Today they continue her legacy by fighting period poverty and ensuring people receive the dignity, respect, and support they deserve.

We will be collecting items for the period kits that Project Marilyn distributes. Please see below the items requested by Project Marilyn based on importance.

Las Vegas Rescue Mission
- Warehouse Rockstar
  - Assist staff and recovery clients with sorting, pricing, and organizing merchandise, as well as sorting clothes in the warehouse
- Community Dinner
  - Volunteers will work with the Kitchen Staff and perform tasks related to serving the Community Meal Dinner

  - Walk the dogs to potty, clean up cages, sort donations, and help potential adopters with dogs
